ISLAMABAD: PM today reached UAE on a day-long visit, at the invitation of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed bin Sultan al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of UAE’s Armed Forces.

His delegation includes COAS, Pakistani ministers for Foreign Affairs, Finance, Petroleum, Power and Adviser to the Prime Minister on Commerce. Since the trip was not announced during the FO Thursday briefing it is insinuated that the voyage was planned post-haste.
Matters of bilateral, regional and global interest will be discussed in the meeting between the Prime Minister and the Crown Prince.
The Prime Minister also met Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE.
It is pertinent to mention here that it is PM Khan’s second visit to UAE in the last six weeks. He is seeking $6 billion financial assistance package from the UAE in the shape of cash deposits and oil on deferred payments.
