“Having a woman president will make a historic statement”: Hilary

SANA MAHMOOD

WASHINGTON DC: While her self-described socialist rival Bernie Sanders adamantly vows to fight on, former secretary of state Hilary Clinton clinches Democratic presidential nomination with the support of 2,383 delegates.

Hilary Clinton thus got her name entered in the history of USA by becoming the first woman ever to lead White House bid of a (major) party.

Now she is all set to self-assuredly begin the general election crusade against the real estate tycoon Donald Trump, the Republican nominee, who she has termed as too dangerous to be entrusted with nuclear codes.

While Hilary’s career as New York senator and secretary of state is reckoned as unparallel qualification by her supporters, she rejects Trump by saying that he requires “knowledge, stability and immense responsibility”.

She pointed out that her supporters believed that having a woman president will make a historic statement about what the Americans stand for.
