ABHA AIRPORT (S. Arabia): Yemen’s Iran-aligned Houthi rebels have targeted an airport in Saudi Arabia today.
According to details the rebels, by means of four drones laden with explosives, succeeded in setting a civilian plane on fire parked on the tarmac.
Responsibility of the attack was claimed by Houthis who consider Abha airport to be a military target. Attackers held that the attack was in response to the “continued aerial bombardment and the brutal siege” of Yemen.
KSA’s State television shows an airplane damaged in an attack by Yemen’s Houthi rebels at an airport near Abha.
