Younis, Misbah & Yasir among top ten in new ICC test ranking

DUBAI: At least 3 Pakistani cricketers have been featured in top ten players in the latest Test raking issued by International Cricket Council (ICC) on Tuesday.

Test skipper Misbah-ul-Haq and Younis Khan both jumped one step ahead in batsmen list making it to 6th and 10th position respectively.

Meanwhile Yasir Shah was only fortunate Pakistani bowler to have been featured in top ten bowler. He is listed at number 4.

The batsmen list is ruled by England’s Joe Root who is followed by Asutralia’s Steven Smith and South Africa’s AB de Villiers at second and third position.

In bowlers’ list South Africa’s Dale Steyn is leading while India’s Ravichandran Ashwin England’s James Anderson are present at number 2 and 3.
