- COAS Gen. Zia-ul-Haq deposed Bhutto on 5th July 1977.

- Z. A. Bhutto, 51, was executed on 4th of April, 1979.
SCP on 6th March, 2024 had proclaimed that Zulfikar Ali Bhutto (who was executed on 4th April, 1979) did not get a fair trial.
