Suicide Bombing Kill 26 in Kabul

AFGHANISTAN: Two bomb explosions rocked the terrain here and Asadabad and killed some 26 wounding 50 others.

The Kunar blast took place hours before the suicide bomb went off  in Kabul. The provincial governor Waheed Ullah Kaleem has told NewsPakistan.TV that the bombers were riding a bike and blew themselves in front of a government office in Asadabad.

Most victims were civilians and children.  A tribal leader and commander Haji Khan was killed in the attack. He was involved in the operations against Taliban last year.

The immediate reason for the attack was not found yet.
