KARACHI: Expo Center here is the venue where exhibitors, defence analysts and decision makers will converge from Pakistan and numerous other countries to attend 12th edition of biennial International Defence Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS) from 19th till 22nd November.
During an introductory briefing held here, Pakistan Armed Forces attempted to manifest their skills. Media was told that the Expo enables Pakistan showcase its strategic positioning and defence capabilities to the world. IDEAS 2024 will help Pakistan market its products, establish joint ventures by means of networking with foreign delegations and defence technology providers.
According to the DG Defence Export Promotion Organization (DEPO) – that organises IDEAS – it is presently regarded as an established rendezvous for convergence of international defence exhibitors, delegates, security analysts and top-level policy planners.
Due to heavy traffic and security, educational institutions located near Karsaz and Sharah-e-Faisal will remain closed from Tuesday till Friday (19th till 22nd Nov, 2024).

According to the statistics from the last IDEAS (2022), over 52,000 trade visitors attended the event where 532 exhibitors from 38 countries exposed their wares.
