MOSCOW: Since Ukraine has refused to renew transit agreement, the Russian Gas exporters Gazprom on 1st of January, 2025 stopped the supply of cheap gas to Europe.
Interestingly, till now the flow of Russian gas through Ukraine never stopped despite the war that commenced in 2022.
While consumers of Russian gas in EU have managed to get supplies from elsewhere, Hungary will get Russian ges through the TurkStream pipeline under Black Sea,
