MOSCOW: Despite Putin-Trump’s telephonic conversation on Tuesday (19th March, 2025) Russia and Ukraine continued aerial attacks against each other.
Moscow had agreed to temporarily stop attacks on energy infrastructure targets, yet hours later the two countries commenced aerial assaults. While Russia claims that Ukraine had attacked one of its oil facilities, Kyiv accuses Moscow of a hundred and fifty drone attacks.
It is pertinent to mention here that following his conversation with Putin, Trump also talked to Zelenskyy who stated: “Putin essentially rejected the proposal of a comprehensive ceasefire. It would be right for the world to reject any attempts by Putin to draw out the war.”
