BEIJING: A spokesman here has stated Saturday (17th Aug, 2025) that Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will, upon invitation, visit India from to 20th and hold special representatives meeting to ponder over the issue of their shared boundary.
It is pertinent to mention here that China and India plan to recommence trade that was discontinued in 2020 after a deadly skirmish involving troops stationed at both sides of the border. Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, visited China last July.
