OVAL OFFICE: PM Shehbaz Sharif, who met Donald Trump Friday (26th Sept, 2025) along with the COAS Field Marshal Asim Munir to ponder over regional security, described the US President as a Man of Peace.
Premier Shehbaz Sharif, described President as a man of peace. Harboring on the subject of Indo-Pak May 2025 skirmish, Shehbaz thanked him for mediating a ceasefire. It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan has backed Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize.
GoP took to the X to state: “Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir met with US President Donald J. Trump at the Oval Office today.
“The Prime Minister lauded ‘bold, courageous and decisive leadership’ of President Trump for facilitating the Pakistan-India ceasefire and praised his initiative to invite key Muslim world leaders in efforts to bring an immediate end to the conflict in Gaza and restore peace in the Middle East.
“The leaders discussed enhancing the bilateral partnership, with the Prime Minister inviting US investment in Pakistan’s key sectors and stressing the need to further enhance security and intelligence cooperation.The Prime Minister also extended a warm and cordial invitation to President Trump to undertake an official visit to Pakistan, at his convenience.”
