LAKKI MARWAT (KP): Security Forces have neutralised eight militants during an IBO carried out here on Friday (24th Oct, 2025).
Militants have been carrying out attacks against the law enforcement personnel in the provinces of KP and Balochistan for quite a long time now. Security forces neutralised eight militants during an IBO carried out in Sultankhel area here on 17th Oct. Security forces noting that the militants were hiding in the forest between Kaichi Kamar and Sultankhel, attacked the hideout and neutralised all of them.
Huge quantity of arms, ammunition and explosives were recovered from militants. On the same day a suicide attack on a military camp in Mir Ali area of North Waziristan was foiled by security forces. At first a suicide bomber crashed an IED-laden vehicle against the wall of the military camp. Following that three militants attempted to enter the batiment. But all three were prevented from entering and were neutralised.
Sixteen militants, who were trying to enter Ghulam Khan Kallay in N. Waziristan through Pak-Afghan border on the morning of 23rd March, had been neutralised by security forces. According to details Pakistani security forces engaged the militants attempting to infiltrate and after an exchange of fire, shot sixteen of them dead. It is pertinent to mention here that Islamabad believes that Afghanistan-based TTP militants infiltrate and attack targets in Pakistan.
It has repeatedly asked Interim Taliban Government in Kabul to contain terrorists’ safe heaven and ensure effective border control.During an exchange of fire between Pakistani troops and Khwarij six militants were neutralized in the Spinwam area of North Waziristan on 5th October. During the exchange of fire Lt Col Muhammad Ali Shaukat, who was leading the operation against the khwarij, paid the ultimate price along-with five soldiers:
31-year-old Lance Naik Muhammad Ullah from Khyber; 30-year-old Lance Naik Akhtar Zaman from Lakki Marwat; 29-year-old Lance Naik Shahid Ullah from Tank; 31-year-old Lance Naik Yusaf Ali from Orkazai; 26-year-old Sepoy Jameel Ahmed, a resident of Swat.
On 11th of Jan, 9 militants were neutralized by LEAs during a couple of IBOs in the Dosali and Esham areas. According to details, while six militants were killed in the first IBO carried out in Dosali, three more were gunned down in the second IBO conducted in Esham area of North Waziristan. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the slain terrorists, who were involved in in the murder of civilians as well as LEA personnel.
