JAMAICA: Melissa, the strongest storm on the planet this year battered Jamaica with winds of 175m/h on Tuesday (28th Oct, 2025).
The size of the hurricane could be gauged by a video shot by USAF Hunter that flew into the eye of Melissa on Monday (27th October, 2025).
Melissa has already claimed three lives one each in Haiti, Jamaica and Dominican Republic.
Interestingly, many of the karachiites believe that in the presence of Ghazi’s mazar at Clifton no storm could possibly harm the Metropolis! Probably believing on myths and miracles some Jamaicans, living on the beach, refused to leave their abodes.
