Mazari serves Rs100mn notice to Khawaja Asif over derogatory remarks




ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) lawmaker Shireen Mazari on Wednesday served Rs.100 million defamation notice to Defense Minister Khawaja Asif over his offensive remarks made against her.

According to details, Mazari demanded Asif to apologize her or pay the money.

Khawaja Asif used ‘tractor trolley’ word for her during the National Assembly session. He also called her aunty.

The minister although apologized, but the PTI MNA rejected his apology and said that he has to apologise by taking her name.

However, no response was made by Asif, on which, Mazari served a defamation notice to Khawaja Asif demanding Rs100 million compensation.
