5.7 magnitude earthquake shakes KP

PESHAWAR: An earthquake of magnitude 5.7 was recorded here today. 

According to details tremors were felt in Mansehra, Swat, Upper/Lower Dir, Shangla, Swabi, Malakand, Nowshera, Charsadda, Kohat, Dera Ismail Khan and Bannu also felt tremors. No loss of life or property was reported.

The depth of the quake was 112km and its epicentre was in Tajikistan. National Seismic Monitoring Centre informed that an earthquake of magnitude 5.1 was recorded in the Afghanistan-Tajikistan border region.
