RAWALPINDI: Sheikh Rashid Ahmed (head of a non-entity called AML – a PTI ally) was nabbed and taken to the New Town Police Station as soon as an Anti-Terrorism Court here on Tuesday (16th Jan, 2024) rejected his bail in the 9th May riot case.

It may be recalled that he was earlier picked up by men in plainclothes from his house here on 17th Sept, 2023, had resurfaced after more then four weeks and said that he had gone on a Chilla.

During his chilla he realised that 9th May was a black day for Imran Khan and disapproved the agitation against the establishment.
