Creation of South Punjab province in national interest!

MULTAN: Creation of new province will not only benefit the masses of South Punjab but is also in the interest of the country.
Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf Parliamentarian Makdoomzada Zain Hussain Qureshi said the party had started working on it from the day one as people had voted PTI on a pledge of the establishment of a new province, a press release issued here on Tuesday evening said.
The MNA stated the party would honor its promise of setting up South Punjab province, adding it was a good omen, that the PPP was supporting it.
Deprivations of South Punjab people would be removed, the young parliamentarian said and added that it was longstanding demand and wish of masses to set up South Punjab as a province.
Handing over the chief ministership to South Punjab and making it party manifesto are the glaring examples of the fact that PTI was sincere and serious in mapping out a new province, the press release added.

In a Presser held here, the estranged lawmakers of PML-N who had formed JPSM recently has announced their joining the PTI today. According to details, the JPSM members will be contesting the next elections from the platform of PTI after the merger. JPSM president Khusro Bakhtiar said that they joined the PTI when it included the creation of a new province in south Punjab in their manifesto: “We had presented our case in front of Pakistan just a month ago. In just this one month, the party that will be the creator of a new Pakistan, has not only added our demand for a separate province in south Punjab to its manifesto but also promised the same — not to us but to the people of Pakistan.” Bakhtiar lamented that the party that ruled Punjab for over three decades kept south Punjab with itself just to keep on the ruling: “It’s the decision of the southern Punjab people that they don’t want to live this life of subjugation!”(Published on 9th May 2018)
