Nasrallah Death: MWM workers attempt to reach US Consulate in Karachi

KARACHI: Like in different cities of Pakistan, a large number of people belonging to the religiopolitical party Majlis-e-Wahdat-e- Muslimeen (MWM) gathered at PIDC House and Numaish Chowrangi on Sunday (29th Sept, 2024) evening to protest against Israel’s Majlis-e-Wahdat-e- Muslimeen (MWM)

Protesters, including women and children, attempted to remove obstacles in order to march towards the US Consulate General here raising anti Israel and anti-US slogans and Hezbollah flags, Police (duly donned in riot gear) resorted to fire teargas shells (and as accused by ton the protesters who pelted stones on them injuring SHO Mochko and others.

The protesters also damaged containers placed to stop their march, DSNG vans of private channels and attacked Media personnel. Many marchers, who had been taken into custody, were released after successful negotiations.
