FLORIDA: Dragon Capsule, launched by SpaceX from Cape Canaveral here on Saturday (28th Sept, 2024), harbouring NASA astronaut Nick Hague and Russian cosmonaut Alexander Gorbunov, supplies and two empty seats (to be occupied by the stranded astronauts), is scheduled to dock with Int’l Space Station (ISS) on 29th Sept. at 21.30 GMT.
Astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams will be brought back to Earth in the month of February, 2025. It is pertinent to mention here that the two stranded astronauts were supposed to remain in space onboard ISS for eight months. But due to a fault detected in Starliner, the Boeing spacecraft was brought back to Earth sans voyagers. Elon Musk’s SpaceX transports crews to and from Int’l Space Station (ISS) twice a year.
