Hezbollah Attacks Israeli Military Base in Tel Aviv

BEIRUT: Hezbollah on Wednesday (13th November, 2024) claimed that it had attacked Israeli Amos military base located near the city of Afula utilising a squadron of attack drones.

The base – situated near a huge shopping mall and a train station – harbours head quarters of many military organisations including the War Cabinet.

PM’s Holiday House Targeted: It may be recalled that on 19th October, 2024 Iran backed Hezbollah had attacked the vacation house of Netanyahu. Three drones, launched from Lebanon presumably by Iran-Backed Hezbollah, penetrated into the hermetically sealed Israeli air-space on Saturday (19th October, 2024).

Two drones were intercepted while the third one, launched towards Netanyahu’s home in Caesarea (coastal town where the PM happens to have a holiday home), had hit an undisclosed batiment.

The locals had heard an explosion but no casualties were reported. Moreover, the PM too was not in the area at the time of drone attack.

No militant outfit has so far claimed responsibility for the attack. However, it has been insinuated that the attack was carried out by Hezbollah.
