GAZA: Following talks in Cairo, Hamas has proclaimed that it would continue releasing hostages, as mediators Egypt and Qatar had assured they would remove obstacles.
It is pertinent to mention here that the mediators had successfully persuaded both Hamas and Israel to continue implementation. Hamas, citing Israel’s violations of the truce, had earlier postponed the release of hostages. In response Israel warned that the ceasefire would end if Israel refused to release the captives.
