TOBA KAKRI (Balochistan): During an operation that was carried out by Pakistani security forces near Pak-Afghan border here on Thursday (6th March, 2025) four militants were nabbed alongwith Kalashnikovs, hand grenades and other firearms they were carrying.

According to government sources the four nabbed militants had informed the interrogators that they infiltrated three days ago from Afghanistan and were planning a major terrorist attack in Pakistan.

It is pertinent to mention here that TTP militants have augmented the frequency of attacks, particularly in KP and Balochistan, after ending truce they signed with the government of Pakistan in the month of November last year.

Pakistan has repeatedly asked the Taliban’s interim government in Afghanistan to make sure that its soil was not used by the TTP terrorists, but it seems that the appeals have not been given much importance by Kabul, that denied the charges.
