MOSCOW/KARACHI: Red Square was the venue where President Vladimir Putin welcomed 20 global leaders including Chinese President Xi Jinping and Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva Friday (9th May, 2025) to observe 80th anniversary of defeating Nazis.
KARACHI: On the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory together with Pakistani Navy a ceremony to pay tribute to those who sacrificed their lives in the Second World War was held at Karachi War Cemetery.
Consul General of Russia in Karachi Andrey Fedorov laid a wreath to the memorial to allied officers and soldiers.
The staff of the Consulate organized “Immortal Regiment” procession, carrying photos of their relatives who defended motherland during WWII.
