ISLAMABAD: Citing the favourable international market, and recommendations from the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra), GoP’s Petroleum Division announced late Monday (15th Dec, 2025) night that the price of petrol will not be decreased.
However, the Petroleum Division has decided to slash the price of diesel by Rs. 14/litre, for the last fortnight of the year. Citoyens will be able to acquire a litre of diesel for Rs. 265.65, instead of Rs. 279.65 (from 16th till 31st of December, 2025). Petrol will be available for Rs. 263.45 per litre. It may be recalled that the price of petrol was reduced for the first fortnight of December, 2025 by Rs. 2 per litre.
