BISHKEK: PM Shehbaz Sharif has directed the Envoy in Bishkek Hassan Ali Zaigham to assist Pakistani students stranded here.

PM has instructed the Ambassador to oversee the arrangement of a special flight to bring back 130 pupils from Bishkek to Pakistan this evening. It has been proclaimed that the government would foot the bill in this regard.
PM directing the Envoy to give preference to the injured, students living with their families and asked him to remain in constant contact with the pupils and their parents.
During the telephonic conversation Hassan Ali Zaigham briefed the PM about his meetings with the Kyrgyz authorities, including the deputy foreign minister.
According to the Pakistani Ambassador the security of Pakistani students had been augmented, the situation was under control and no act of violence had been reported in the last 48 hours.
