DEVOS: Much trumpeted Board of Peace, (meant to resolve global disputes) has been launched by its originator US President Donald Trump here on Thursday (22nd Jan, 2026).
Savants at the helm of affairs were of the view that Board of Peace was formed for the reconstruction of Gaza buildings, flattened by 2-year of Israeli bombings. Cynics go haywire noting that the draft of the charter manifests that Board of Peace‘s role was not limited only to Gaza.
Moreover, without consulting the people of Palestine, Trump’s real-estate developer son-in law Jared Kushner has presented a post-war New Gaza and New Rafah masterplan at the WEF here. The proposed plan features a new airport, industrial parks, a hundred thousand housing units and high-rises forming a new skyline of Mediterranean coastline.
19 countries inked the document establishing the Board of Peace:

Amnesty International maintained: “Today’s ceremony marking the establishment of the so-called global ‘Board of Peace’ lays bare a brazen disregard for international law and human rights. It also represents a stark new manifestation of the escalating assault on United Nations mechanisms, international justice institutions and universal norms.“
Noting that Pakistan is one of the 19 countries that signed the founding charter of the Board of Peace, PTI stated that it did not accept the decision: “We firmly believe that Pakistan’s participation in any international peace initiative should complement and reinforce the United Nations’ multilateral system, rather than creating parallel structures that could dilute or complicate global governance!”
France rejected Board of Peace, spearheaded by Donald Trump, maintaining: “It was not corresponding on the one hand with the pure Gaza mandate, which is not even mentioned, and on the other hand, there are elements of this charter which are contrary to the United Nations charter.”
It is pertinent to mention here that the originator of Board of Peace Donald Trump had earlier said during his WEF speech that he would not takeover Greenland by force. But it seems that the West will not trust his words anymore.
