Actor Tanveer Jamal dies in Japan

ISLAMABAD: Television actor/director/producer Tanveer Jamal, who was suffering from cancer, died in Japan on Wednesday (13th of July, 2022) at the age of 62.

Tanveer Jamal, married to a Japanese lady, was diagnosed with lung cancer back in 2016 and moved to Japan for treatment last May. He left behind a wife and three children.

President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi, while expressing grief over his demise, paid tribute to Tanveer Jamal and pointing towards his 35-year-long career said his invaluable services would be remembered for long.
