KARACHI: According to the report released by US Govt’s oversight authority on Afghanistan reconstruction SIGAR*, despite receiving aids worth billions of dollars, Taliban failed to rebuild their country.
It is pertinent to mention here that since August 2021 (when US withdrew from Afghanistan) an aid of $3.71 Billion has been spent but still the repressive policies of the ruling Taliban are still there: i) Women were excluded from political, social and educational life; ii) Forty million Afghan citoyens are facing critical situation.
