DUBAI: Former all-rounder Shahid Afridi is all set to play the first ever T10 Cricket league being held in Dubai.
The league, jointly organised by Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) member Shaji ul Mulk and Salman Iqbal, owner of PSL franchise Karachi Kings, will feature well-known international players including Virender Sehwag, Kumar Sangakkara, and Eoin Morgan.
The tournament, being launched in association with Emirates Cricket Board, comprises six teams from the South Asian region.
Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Najam Sethi appreciated the step and said that PCB will support T10 South Asia tournament if it is beneficial to the interest of all stakeholders.
“The board will continue to support Pakistani cricketers wherever they play,” he added.
