Al-Qaeda ‘facilitator’ arrested after an ‘encounter’

 

KARACHI: Police has arrested a suspect Dr. Usman, a dentist by profession, after an encounter here on Sunday.

He is accused of being an Al-Qaida facilitator and Safoora Goth massacre’s main accused Saad Aziz.

Preedy police has booked Usman in two cases of attacking police and under section 13-D (possession of illegal weapons).

 

While talking to NewsPaksitan.Tv Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) head Raja Umar Khattab has said that Usman knew Saad Aziz but was not directly involved in the Sohrab Goth incident in which six gunmen shot and killed 43 members of Ismaili community.
