GAVDOS: Greek authorities, that had rescued 47 Pakistanis, whose boats capsized here on 15th Dec 2024, and declared 5 dead, have now proclaimed those 35 missing too drowned augmenting the death toll to 40.

The 47 Pakistani illegal migrants, who were rescued by the Greek coastguards, have been taken to the Island of Crete. They were provided needed support by the members of diplomatic mission there.

According to eyewitnesses five illegal migrants lost their lives in the incidence that took place in the southern island of Gavdos.
