KARACHI: A shootout that took place between two rival groups within Bugti clan (one led by Fahad Ahmed Nawaz Bugti and other led by Ali Haider Bugti) in the DHA’s Nishat Commercial area at 11.30 PM, Thursday (25th July, 2024) claimed lives of 5 people.
Those killed were identified as Fahad Ahmed Nawaz Bugti, Nasibullah , Shay Mir Mahsim Bugti, Mir Isa Bugti and Ali Bugti.

Ali Haider (maternal nephew of Akbar Bugti) was one of the two who received bullet wounds. These critically injured members of Bugti clan are being given medical treatment at a facility in the Metropolis under Police guard that is treating them as suspects. Following the skirmish Karachi Police nabbed seventeen suspects (including two gunmen) belonging to the Bugti tribe.
