ISLAMABAD: Chief justices of high courts have been urged by the CJP Qazi Faez Isa to commence the process of nominating addidional judges to ensure smooth functioning of the courts.
By means of a correspondence (dated 28th August, 2024), the CJP has called for filling the vacant vacancies in the judiciary. Supreme Court, according to Qazi Faez Isa’s letter, comprises sixteen judges, including himself, recently resumed full operations after two and a half years on 25 June 2024. He urged the high courts to select suitable candidates via transparent process.
