DUBAI: Afghanistan managed to score 147 runs in 20 overs at the cost of 6 wickets batting against the Green Shirts in the T20 World Cup Super 12 Group 2 Match here on Friday (29th of October, 2021).

Asif Ali scored an unbeatable 25 off 7 balls hitting 4 sixers steering the Green Shirts to victory. Babar Azam scored went back to pavilion after scoring 51. Mohammad Rizwan has been dismissed by Afghanistan spinner Mujeeb-ur-Rahman. Fakhar Zaman was dismissed by Mohammad Nabi he scored 30 runs. Pakistan’s second wicket fell when the team had scored 75. 5th Green shirt to be dismissed by Afghans was Shoaib Malik who scored 19.
Earlier Afghanistan Cricket team captain Mohammad Nabi won the toss and opted to bat first. Pakistan’s Iman Wasim and Shaheen Afridi dismissed the openers. Haris and Hasan Ali sent two more to the pavilion. Karim Janat’s scalp was taken by Imad Waseem. He only managed to muster fifteen runs up. Janat attempted to hit a six but was caught by Zaman. When Afghanistan managed to score 76 Shadab Khan dismissed Najibullah Zadran (his bat yielded 22 runs).
