HYDERABAD: An ATC here on Tuesday (18th Feb 2025) has remanded celebrated Sindhi poet Dr. (Allah Baksh) Akash Ansari’s adopted son to police custody for four days.
Postmortem report had revealed that renowned Sindhi poet was tortured before dying on Saturday (15th Feb) in a mysterious incendie in his Citizens Colony house’s locked bedroom.
Police carried out a probe and figured out that his adopted son (and driver) killed the poet before transforming his room into a furnace. According to the SSP the suspects had confessed to the homicide and Police had recovered the murder weapon.
Dr. (Allah Baksh) Akash Ansari was born on 25th December, 1956 in a village near Badin. After his early edification he studied at Liaquat Medical College, Jamshoro.
