LAHORE: Several terrorists including female operatives were arrested by Punjab Rangers during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Dera Ghazi Khan.
According to the statement by Rangers, the terrorists have links with two different militant groups.
“The operation was conducted with the help of police and intelligence agencies and succeeded to foil the terrorists’ plan to transport an ample amount of arms and ammunition to different cities in Punjab and Sindh,” the military’s media wing said in a statement.
“Huge quantity of illegal and automatic weapons, ammunition and LEAs uniforms were seized from the terrorists,” ISPR added.
