ISLAMABAD: Minister for education Engr Muhammad Baligh ur Rehman while re-launching the website of Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE), has said that present government has put the education sector in the country on the path of development.
Addressing the Re-Launching Ceremony of FBISE Website here, he said that during the last five years all provinces including federal government worked for the promotion of education sector.
The ceremony was also attended by MNA Malik Ibrar Ahmad, Chairman FBISE Malik Ikram Ali Malik, Secretary FBISE and other representatives of educational institutions.
During the ceremony, the winners of the sports games organized by the FBISE were also awarded trophies by the minister.
Relevant piece published earlier: Federal Minister for Education Engr Muhammad Baligh-ur-Rehman today said that private sector was playing a pivotal role in promoting education across the world.
Addressing the ceremony organized here by the representatives of All Pakistan Private Schools Management Association (APPSMA) in honor of the selection of Ziab un Nisa as Board of Governors (BoG) of FBISE, he also commended the role of private sector in country’s education system.
He said that despite facing many troubles in shape of sit-ins during last five years the present government had tried its best for the promotion of education sector. “We had implemented compulsory Quranic education(Nazra and Translation) in both public and private schools of Islamabad Capital Territory( ICT),” he added.
He said that according to the report of Alif Ailan Bahawalpur district had been ranked at number 10 from 46 in district education ranking.
Private Schools should have the right to finalize their fees but they should not increase fee 50 percent at once. He stressed the need to set a mechanism under which the fee could be increased annually.
Earlier, in her address newly elected member of Board of Governors(BoD) of Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education(FBISE), Zaib-un-Nisa thanked the representatives of APPSMA for holding an event in connection with her selection.
