Exemption of duty on import of cotton

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) today notified the exemption of customs duty on import of cotton.
The government has exempted the whole of customs duty leviable under the First Schedule to the Customs Act, 1969, on the import of cotton, not carded or combed and cotton carded or combed. The notification would be effective from 1st February 2019 to 30th June 2019.
