Explosives-laden drone attacks at King Abdullah Airport injures ten

JIZAN (Saudi Arabia): Although there had been no claim by Houthis, savants at the helm of affairs are of the view that the drone attacks here at King Abdullah Airport had probably been carried out by them.

According to details late on Friday and early Saturday ten people (six Saudis, three Bangladeshis and one Sudanese) were wounded due to the attack carried out using the first explosives-laden drone. However, the second attack was intercepted.

Nevertheless, the air traffic at King Abdullah airport was not disrupted and operations remained normal. However, a number of glass panes at the facade were shattered.

Meanwhile, Pakistan – reaffirming its support and solidarity with KSA against any threat to its security and territorial integrity – has condemned the assault saying such attacks not violated the  international law and threatened region’s peace and security.
