KARACHI: Internet Monitor Netblocks has informed that Instagram, Threads and Facebook were experiencing outages related to login session in multiple countries across the globe on Tuesday (5th Feb, 2024).

According to Netblocks the outages were not related to country-level internet disruptions or filtering. Andy Stone, Director Meta Communications, had confirmed that over six hundred thousand users had
reported issues accessing Meta products including Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, and Threads.

In a follow-up post stone stated: “Earlier today, a technical issue caused people to have difficulty accessing some of our services.

“We resolved the issue as quickly as possible for everyone who was impacted, and we apologize for any inconvenience.”
