FCS case: Nisar Morai sentenced to 7 years in prison

KARACHI: PPP-P’s Dr. Nisar Morai and 3 others have been sentenced to 7 years in prison each by Accountability Court-I Judge Abdul Ghani Soomro   on 20th Feb in a case regarding illegal appointments in FCS.

A number of people had been charged with misusing their authority, embezzlement of funds, illegal appointments and awarding fake contracts during 2014-15.

The judge, while pronouncing the sentence held that the prosecution successfully proved the allegations against the accused persons sans doubt.
