Federal capital’s healthcare system to be upgraded: minister

ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination Dr Zafar Mirza on Friday said the entire healthcare system of the federal capital would be upgraded in line with the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

During a surprise visit to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), the minister said the incumbent government was determined to bring about promised reforms in the health sector.

He added that the government was striving hard to improve health facilities for the masses.

Dr Zafar said special attention was being paid to improving patient care in PIMS that was catering bulk of patients not only from the capital but from other parts of the country.
