KARACHI: Chairman of the world’s largest port operating company (DP World), Sheikh Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, arrived here to lend his support to the flood-hit populace of Pakistan.
Addressing a Press Conference held here at Hotel Marriott on Friday (22nd of September, 2022) Sheikh Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem informed that he would be visiting various flood-effected areas to examine the impact and devastation of the climate change on Pakistan.
Sheikh Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, who was invited by celebrated performing artist and social worker Fakhr Alam, will also meet government officials and leadership in order to figure out how DP World Foundation could assist Pakistan in containing the menace of global warming.
During the Presser Sheikh Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem announced a substantial amount as donation in order to support those effected by the deluge. His visit at this crucial time is reckoned as yet another affirmation of UAE’s camaraderie with the people of Pakistan.
