FUUAST: IHC lifts ban on Acting VC Prof. Dr. Rubina Mushtaq

KARACHI: Federal Urdu University spokesman has informed here Thursday that IHC, while dismissing the petition, (WP-2736/20 filed by Muhammad Anwar Jan) lifted ban on Acting VC Dr. Rubina Mushtaq and reinstated Dr. M. Sarim as Registrar.

It may be recalled that Acting VC was confined to day-to-day work and the letter of additional responsibility given to acting registrar was suspended on 3rd day of Nov. (2020).

IHC while hearing the case yesterday, also dismissed the request of the petitioner’s  counsel apropos appointment of Dr. Muhammad Zia-ud-Din, Dean, Faculty of Arts, as the Acting VC.
