KARACHI: Federal Urdu University of Arts Science and Technology (FUUAST) and University of Lodz Poland have entered an Initiation of inter-institutional agreement Erasmus Plus.
According to a statement issued on Friday, the Erasmus Plus agreement will be effective from 2023 to 2027.
This agreement covers promotion of educational exchanges and inter-cultural experiences activities. Under this partnership, FUUAST’s Department of International Relations and Political Science students will get opportunities to study at Lodz University, Poland for one semester.
This agreement will be with the cooperation of the Department of Orc and International Relations of the FUUAST. The Director ORIC, Dr. Kamran Ahsan expressed his views and said that this agreement will be beneficial for the students of both institutions.
This agreement will be important in promoting intercultural experiences as well as improving the quality of education, he said. Healthy academic competition and leadership skills will be promoted between the students of the two universities, he observed.
In this regard, Federal Urdu University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zabta Khan Shinwari said, “We are proud of this joint collaboration with Lodz University, Poland and we are very happy to launch the project.
He said that this agreement reflects our commitment to promote academic excellence and provide rich opportunities for our students and faculty members.
He said that both the institutions have embarked on a new journey of betterment.
Both the institutes reiterated that they will pursue their common interests and ideals with the main objective of encouraging talented students to develop their leadership skills so that they can move with the world and their relationship with the world be developed more stronger, he said.

کراچی : وفاقی اردو یونیوورسٹی برائے آرٹس سائینس اور ٹیکنالوجی اور یونیورسٹی آف لارڈز پولینڈ کے درمیان بین ا لا ادارہ جاتی معاہدے پر دستخط ہو گئے۔
یہ معاہدہ تعلیمی تبادلوں اور بین ا لاثقافتی تجربات کو فروغ دینے کے لئے کیا گیا ہے۔
اس معاہدہ کے تحت وفاقی اردو یو نیورسٹی کے شعبہ بین الاقوامی تعلقات اور سیاسیات کے طالب علموں کو ایک سمسٹر کے لیے یونیورسٹی آف لارڈز، پولینڈ میں تعلیم حاصل کرنے کا موقع ملے گا۔
اسی طرح یونیورسٹی آف لارڈز کے ممتاز فیکلٹی ممبران اپنے قیمتی تجربات اور مہارت فراہم کرنے کے لئے وفاقی اردو یونیورسٹی میں شامل ہوں گے۔
ڈاکٹر کامران احسن نے اپنے خیالات کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے کہاکہ یہ معاہدہ دونوں اداروں کے طالب علموں کے لیے سود مند ثابت ہوگا ،یہ معاہدہ بین الثقافتی تجربات کو فروغ دینے کے ساتھ ساتھ معیار تعلیم کو بہتر بنانے میں بھی اہم ثابت ہوگا۔
دونوں یونیورسٹیز کے طلبا کے درمیان صحت مند تعلیمی مقابلے اور قائدانہ صلاحیتوں کو فروغ ملے گا ۔
اس حوالے سے وفاقی اردو یونیورسٹی کے وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ضابطہ خان شنواری نے اظہارِ خیال کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ ہم یونیورسٹی آف لارڈز، پولینڈ کے ساتھ اس مشترکہ منصوبے کا آغاز کرنے پر بہت خوش ہیں۔
یہ معاہدہ تعلیمی مہارت کو فروغ دینے اور ہمارے طلبا اور فیکلٹی ممبران کے لئے بھرپور مواقع فراہم کرنے کے لئے ہمارے عزم کی عکاسی کرتا ہے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ دونوں اداروں نے تبدیلی کے نئے سفر کا آغاز کیا ہے اور اس بات کا اعادہ کیا ہے کہ وہ اپنے مشترکہ مفادات اور نظریات کو ساتھ لیکرچلیں گے جس کا بنیادی مقصد ہونہار طلبہ کی حوصلہ افزائی کرنا ہے تاکہ انکی قائدانہ صلاحیتوں میں نکھار پیدا ہو وہ دنیا کے ساتھ چل سکیں اور ان کا رشتہ دنیا کے ساتھ مضبوط ہو ۔
