G. M. Jamali condemns Police raid at QPC

KARACHI: Senior journalist G. M. Jamali has condemned the raid by Police at Quetta Press Club (QPC) on Saturday (1st March, 2025).

Former president Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ) G. M. Jamali said that Balochistan government should take action against those policemen involved in trespassing on the Quetta Press Club.

Karachi Press Club stated: “It’s an act which has desecrated the sanctity of the press club and cannot be tolerated.” KPC office bearers demanded suspension of those cops who entered Quetta Press Club to arrest protesters.

Meanwhile, Balochistan Police spokesman, asserting that the department supported freedom of expression, said that following a probe punitive measures would be taken against the culprits.
