BEIJING: Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Guo Jiakun while speaking to the reporters during his regular briefing on Wednesday (12th February, 2025) stated: “Gaza belongs to the Palestinians and is an integral part of the Palestinian territory … We oppose the forced displacement of the people of Gaza.”
Commenting on US President Donald Trump’s plan to relocate all the inhabitants of Gaza to other countries in order to rebuild the Strip and transform it into a Riviera, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Guo Jiakun said China opposed the suggested forced displacement of Palestinians.
Egypt: President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, while commenting on the open invitation extended by US President Donald Trump to visit the White House, made it clear that he would not go to USA for talks if the agenda harbored Palestinians’ displacement from the Strip.
Foreign Ministry of Egypt, hoping to co-operate with the Trump Administration, maintained: “In this context, Egypt affirms its intention to present a comprehensive vision for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, in a manner that ensures the Palestinian people stay on their land, and in line with the legitimate and legal rights of this people.”
