GAZA: According to Palestinian Civil Defence, one day after bombing a 5-storey batiment harbouring civilians, Israeli military targeted yet another structure, killing scores of men, women and children here on Wednesday (30th October, 2024).

While armed forces of Israel said that it was looking into the reports, USA termed the attack horrifying. The United Nations Human Rights Office, said the attack was the deadliest single attack in last many months.

Yet, for the world, deaths of thousands of innocent people is but a figure. First of all why Hamas initiated the war when it was not prepared for the consequences? Secondly, while missiles are raining down on Palestinians, toothless entities like Muslim Ummah and the UN are busy in their mundane rituals, informing the masses once in a while how shocked they are.
