Google dedicates doodle to Abdul Sattar Edhi on his 89th birthday!

CALIFORNIA: Search engine giant Google on Monday paid a tribute to renowned Pakistani philanthropist Abdul Sattar Edhi with its doodle on the eve of his 89th birthday.

The company honoured the late philanthropist by displaying a photo on its homepages in various countries including Australia, portraying him with the ambulance of Edhi foundation, a mother with two kids, hospital home, pet dog and a book.

The search engine giant praised Edhi for helping people all around the world.

Renowned humanitarian passed away on 8th July this year due to protracted illness. He was given a state funeral. The Senate of Pakistan has unanimously passed a resolution to observe July 08 as the Edhi Day.
