Govt striving to facilitate people: Buzdar

SARGODHA: Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar Tuesday said that government is struggling hard and taking revolutionary steps to facilitate the general public.

Buzdar  paid surprise visit to Ramazan Bazaar Shaheen Chowk Sargodha and checked various stalls and directed the administration for providing necessities of life to the consumers at subsidized rates.

Chief Minister strictly directly the district administration for taking action against the black marketers and hoarders.

He said that Punjab government had started mega operation against power theft in the province for uninterrupted power supply during the holy month of Ramazan.

Earlier, the Chief Minister visited the District Jail Sargodha and inquired the Jail Superintendent Anjum Shah about the problems of prisoners regarding sanitation, health, food and especially the under aged prisoners in jail.

Chief Minster also announced two-months remission of sentence to prisoners on Eid involved in minor cases.

On this occasion Provincial Minister Ansar Majeed Niazi, Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner and others higher authorizes were along with the chief minister.
